Sassy Street Wear was born from my own story—one that so many big girls and women know all too well. Growing up and even as an adult, I was always the “big girl” trying to make the best out of whatever clothes I could find. Most days, that meant settling for whatever Walmart had on the rack, wearing the same outfits for years, or choosing between something cheap that didn’t last or something cute that cost way too much.

I remember standing in dressing rooms, frustrated and tired, wondering why finding clothes that fit my body—and my budget—felt impossible. Why did being a big girl mean I had to sacrifice style? Why did comfort have to come at the cost of confidence? Why did plus‑size fashion feel like an afterthought?

I got tired of feeling overlooked.

I got tired of paying more for less.
